STEP 1 - This is the minimum requirement to join the Pay Program.
However, depending on your chosen niche, this can be a piece of cake or a nightmare, so be smart in picking the right niche for you.
Your niche must be:
- Monetizable. (means it contains many advertisers looking to put add-in that specific niche)
- It is a passion topic for you. (you must like it or you won't survive it)
- There is a huge audience looking for that topic. (Empty niches are dead spots)
- The niche must have extended content to share with the audience.
STEP 2 - YouTube Policies.
You must cover all the previous points, plus the Rules of the Game, too.
There are many policies that must be taken care of during the development of your channel to be in good standards with the YouTube Society.
Be aware, that there is content that is not suitable for ads, and will result in a "limited or no ads" monetization state.
